Aptly named for its stability-focused design, the Under Armour Guardian running shoes meet the needs of long distance runners who need a little extra support. Support features within the heel and midfoot portions help to guide the runner's foot into a more efficient foot-strike pattern. Similar to the HOVR Infinite, this stability running shoes is made with HOVR cushioning covering the entirety of the shoe, from heel to forefoot.

The UA HOVR Guardian is also connected thanks to a pod embedded in the midsole of the right shoe that connects via Bluetooth™ to the MapMyRun™ app. This feature allows runners to track their run data without a device, receive virtual personalized coaching on their gait, stride length, pace and more.

Shoe Composition

Upper: Features strategically placed stretch and structure within an engineered mesh promotes protection from overpronation. An external heel clip is built to provide relief and stability on the run.

Midsole:Plush HOVR technology eliminates the impact with each step on the run. Cushioning extended from heel to forefoot, exposed at the topside to cradle the foot while providing an energy-packed feel for miles. A lightweight, yet supportive chassis helps decelerate the rate of pronation.

Outsole:Blown rubber under the forefoot is lightweight yet incredibly responsive featuring a textured traction pattern for enhanced grip and an added layer of cushioning.
