A close companion to the Wave Rider, the Mizuno Waveknit R2 running shoes offer a lightweight and cushioned ride during the run with a twist. This model features a knit upper material for a more natural, dynamic fit around a runner's feet. Wave Technology and construction provides a stable base for neutral runners.

Upper: Features a WAVEKNIT upper technology that provides a natural and dynamic fit with stretch and hold abilities. Padded tongue and softer heel collar enhance comfort. Lace-up front offers an adjustable fit.

Midsole: U4ic midsole compound in the topsole and a softer U4icX foam and PEBAX wave plate in the heel. Premium anatomical sockliner. Features more flex grooves in the forefoot and a lateral crash pad.

Outsole: Durable solid rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike.
